Job Description

Our client has an excellent junior / trainee position available within their Finance department. In this role you will begin learning the basics of Finance Administration which you can then enhance on with study support and the opportunity to complete your qualifications.

Role Responsibilities

– Assist the client accounting team with recording financial transactions in the Viewpoint system and learning how to prepare financial statements from a trial balance

– Working with the client accountants to file company accounts and tax returns with the relevant authorities

– Assist the internal finance team with the production of purchase orders and the entering of supplier invoices

– Maintain the petty cash register ensuring that all funds are appropriately documented

– Timely filing of paperwork for both teams.

Skills & Experience Required

– Three A Levels or equivalent

– 5 GCSE’s minimum including Maths and English Language (minimum of grade 5)

– Familiarity with Microsoft Office products would be an advantage.
