Job Description

As part of our clients IT Service team, the Application Support Analyst is responsible for support, maintenance and administration of some of our key applications and services, bringing their experience to ensure that their colleagues in our brands and cross-functional teams’ needs are met through.

Role Responsibilities

– Performing administrative tasks and management activity within our applications to ensure that our systems remain stable, functional, current and fit-for-purpose.

– Working with stakeholders across Technology to handle requests, resolve incidents and deploy changes on the applications within scope.

– Providing out of hours support for the applications, scheduled batch and other tasks on a rota basis.

– Collaborating with our engineering and infrastructure colleagues to identify management and administrative tasks that are appropriate to handle within the team

– Working with our technical vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure we are maximising realised value from the applications, through developing and running

– Working with IT Service colleagues to improve knowledge of our applications and drive up customer satisfaction through increasing first-time-fix rates.

– Working with change and delivery colleagues to support projects and releases as appropriate.

Skills & Experience Required

– Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, Objects, SSIS, SSAS, T-SQL and SSRS is essential.

– Previous experience of Java, PowerBI, PowerCube, Microsoft Azure fundamentals & database, and API Management would be beneficial

– Experience of Elastic, Grafana, Microsoft Access and IIS extremely beneficial.

– Support of Microsoft Office / Office 365 / Microsoft 365 in an enterprise management setting is essential
