Job Description

Our client is currently seeking an Accounts Administrator who will be part of the Management Accounting Department and will assist the team with preparation of financial statements, records and returns for client entities, and collation of related information.

Role Responsilbities

– To act as an ambassador for the Company in all dealings with clients and other business partners

– To assist in the delivery of financial reporting and financial management services to the Portfolio

– Support Fund Accountants when working for portfolio clients in transactions, e.g. capital raising, acquisitions & disposals

– Ensuring the processes and day-to-day operations relating to the Portfolio are effectively performed.

– To carry out bookkeeping functions including assistance in financial statements preparation, records and returns and collation of related information of clients in the Portfolio under supervision from fund accountants.

– To assist in the preparation of supporting documents for the Auditors

– Providing analysis and support for the management of client companies as part of the NAV process

– Providing coaching and mentoring of trainee accounts assistants

– In conjunction with the team supporting clients in the fulfilment of their financial and corporate regulatory obligations.

Skills & Experience Required

– Have experience in bookkeeping and the basics of accounting.

– A relevant professional qualification would be desirable but not essential and no requirement to be currently studying.

– Work to a high degree of accuracy and demonstrate problem solving ability.

– Collaborative and a good team player to help deliver excellent results.

– Good IT skills, with experience with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.

– Excellent communications skills.
