Job Description

Role Responsibilities:
– Acting in the capacity as a director to client entities
– Member of signing committee (office & client entities)
– Management of a portfolio of Companies and Trusts
– Upkeep of corporate records for all companies and trusts
– Preparation of minutes and resolutions and other statutory documents
– Company secretarial / corporate governance related projects
– Assisting with submission of IOM VAT & Tax returns
– Applying standards introduced by board, including adherence to policies and procedures
– Assisting with payments (typically using online banking)
– Assisting the Manager – Corporate and Trust Services with additional tasks as and when required
– Following up and completion of outstanding items identified from administration reviews of company and trust records
– Meet & greet clients, advisors or third parties and participation in client meetings
– Answering the telephone and being the main point of contact for clients within own client portfolio
– Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, competencies and skills to support the development of the business
– Assistance with management & development of IT systems (company secretarial, office, document management, intranet etc, including. guidance and ensuring accuracy of records (Laserfiche/Jobstream/office templates)

Skills & Experience Required:
– Use and application of IOM Companies, Trusts, Partnerships & Foundations
– Isle of Man Anti-Money Laundering & CFT Handbook
– Anti-Bribery & Corruption Legislation
– STEP or CGI (ICSA) qualified or near qualified
– Previous approved key staff status
– Current industry experience
– Accounting knowledge
– Excellent team skills with strong numerical, oral and written skills
– Personable and good communicator
– Flexible and supportive of change, progress and self-development
– Self-organisation and appropriate time management skills
– Proficient with IT systems
