Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Security & Network Pre-Sales Consultant who will continually review technical solutions and recommend new technologies, develop services or recommend partnerships ensuring the business’ Portfolio remains applicable to the requirements of our customers.

Role Responsibilities

– Recommendation of Security and Network Technologies, Services and Partners; growing and continually improving the business portfolio

– Identification of new opportunities

– Valuable contribution to the business’ ongoing security Go to Market campaigns

– Lead technology contributor to customer opportunities, prospecting and engagements

– Lead Security Solution Architect for the design and technical proposals of Customer Solutions

– Lead technical contributor for customer opportunity negotiations

– Technology interface for the development of security and network services.

Skills & Experience Required

– Significant technical and customer presentation skills

– 5 Years working experience with a wide range of security technologies preferably within a Value-Added Reseller

– In-depth understanding of security principals & security frameworks

– Certified in one or more security and network vendor technologies (minimum engineer grade preferably architect grade)

– Good understanding of security standards such as ISO27001

– Experience in presenting & providing technology proposal documentation

– Commercially aware with ability to contribute towards commercial offerings ensuring solutions are affordable for the customer and profitable to the business

– Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical and business related subjects to all audiences, from the user to the executive level.

– Demonstrated success developing client relationships.

– Experience with enterprise cloud services and their infrastructure.

– Experience managing a high volume of activity and a large number of projects in a fast-paced growing organization.

– Experience in a customer facing role requiring a high level of individual responsibility, sound business judgment and large enterprise account management, where an aptitude for improving customer satisfaction was successfully demonstrated.
