Job Description
Our client, who is a well renowned fiduciary service provider based in the north of the island. Providing tailored corporate and trust solutions to clients all over the world. We are seeking an organised and motivated accounts assistant to join our finance team.
Role Responsibilities
– Assisting with the preparation of financial documents, including invoices, receipts, and reports
– Bookkeeping and recording of daily transactions, including raising client invoices and payment of supplier invoices
– Maintaining accurate and up-to-date support for transactions recorded
– Performing monthly and year-end closing processes and reconciliation
– Performing daily cash receipts and reconciliation of bank accounts
– Communicating with suppliers, clients and colleagues regarding financial transactions
– Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks and administrative duties as requested
This role is idea for someone who is eager to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance while pursuing a professional qualification. No prior qualifications necessary, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential.
Skills & Experience Required
– Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
– Excellent organisational and time management abilities
– Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
– A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
– An interest in studying towards a professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
