Are you a sixth form leaver or graduate who would like to begin a career in accountancy? Our client who is a well established, global fiduciary company has an opportunity for a Student Accountant to join their team. You will gain practical experience and contribute to our clients’ financial success whilst training toward becoming a qualified accountant.
Role Responsibilities
– Assist with daily accounting operations, including data entry, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
– Support the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
– Help maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
– Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
– Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
– Assist with audits and compliance checks.
– Collaborate with the accounting team on various projects and tasks.
– Perform other administrative and accounting duties as assigned.
Skills & Experience Required
– Currently pursuing a degree in an Accounting, Finance or a related field or excellent A level grades of A or B in Maths and English
– Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
– Knowledge of how to manage sensitive and confidential information
– Effective communication and interpersonal skills
– Strong attention to detail
– Excellent organisational and time management skills
– Be versatile and adaptable
Salary & Benefits
Salary for this role is £21,584 p/a but will increase inline with the minimum wage.
