Role Responsibilities
– External & Internal Reporting: Take a leading role in delivering timely and accurate valuations, financial reporting, and experience investigations.
– Actuarial Modeling: Assist with developing and maintaining actuarial liability models, ensuring robust data accuracy and clear documentation.
– Product Development & Pricing: Support the design and pricing of new products, update Prophet models, and fine-tune illustration systems.
– Regulatory Compliance: Contribute to maintaining high actuarial standards, staying ahead of evolving regulations.
– Strategic Growth: Get involved in high-impact projects that drive the company forward.
Skills & Experience Required
– A minimum of three years working in life insurance, ideally on the Isle of Man (but we welcome applicants from other locations).
– Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and a deep understanding of regulatory reporting—experience with Isle of Man Risk-Based Capital is a plus.
– A student member of the IFoA (or equivalent), with a solid track record of exam success (at least Core Principles completed).
– A self-starter who thrives both in a team environment and when working independently.
– The ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex actuarial concepts into clear insights.
