Job Description
Our client who is a Development company based in Braddan has a vacancy for a Finance / Company Secretary to join their small but friendly team. The working hours are 9.30am to 16.30pm and is for 4 days per week (including a Friday) on a permanent basis.
Role Responsibilities
– Preparation of Financial Statements for Isle of Man companies.
– Preparation of quarterly management accounts including consolidations.
– Preparation of budgets and forecasts including variance analysis.
– Cash forecasting with variance analysis.
– Oversight of intercompany loans and debtors/creditors.
– Preparation of VAT returns.
– Preparation of year end accounts. Audit packs and liaison with auditors, including audit planning.
– Wages preparation including year end submissions.
– Statutory returns.
– Ad hoc projects for Directors.
Skills & Experience Required
– Must hold experience within a Senior Finance position
– Be proficient in the use of Sage 50
– Have excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
