Our client has an excellent opportunity for someone who would like to develop a career within auditing. Whilst working in a professional role full training and support will be provided with study support to gain the Certified Internal Auditor Qualification.
Role Responsibilities
– Timely completion of audit assignment work in a confidential, independent and objective manner
– Comprehensive research on the areas and subject matters audited
– Maintenance of clear documentation and an ability to draft audit reports
– Evaluating the effectiveness of processes, controls management and governance systems, in accordance with Group Internal Audit departmental standards
– Follow-up of assignment recommendations to ensure positive change occurs
– Build positive relationships across the group and promote a positive culture of internal audit
Skills & Experience Required
– Minimum of 5 GCSE grades A to C including Maths and English. A-Level or equivalent is desirable but not a prerequisite if the candidate has a minimum of 12 months experience in an office environment.
– Desire to study towards a professional qualification
– An enquiring mind to approach work with professional skepticism
– Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
– Good time management, planning and organisational skills
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to interact with managers and staff at all levels and effective report writing
