Job Description
Our client is currently seeking Butchers for Speed Boning.
Role Responsibilities
– Operate switching controls.
– Cut sides and quarters of meat into standard meat cuts and prepare them for packing and marketing
– Adhere to strict health and safety regulations
– Operate various pieces of machinery and equipment.
– Pack processed primals ready for sale
– Transfer items to freezers and chillers
– Use a scale to accurately measure meat for processing
– Follow all PPE and standard operating procedures, and maintain a high level of health, safety and hygiene.
Skills & Experience Required
– Experience of working in a kitchen, fisheries or butchery as training will be provided.
– Able to Perform Physical Work
– Enjoy Practical and Manual Work
– Good Manual Dexterity
– Health and Safety Awareness
