Job Description

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Account Management team. This is a key role acting as the primary point of contact for Advisers and our Sales teams, providing support on new business applications, product guidance, and relationship management. You will play a vital part in ensuring smooth onboarding processes and delivering exceptional service standards.

The main responsibilities will include:

• Assist with the Sales Team and Advisers with new business applications to meet service standards.
• Provide sales administration support to Sales and regional offices.
• Support product training for Advisers and all staff.
• Act as a conduit between Advisers, their operations teams, and IFGL New Business Team to resolve issues.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on products open to new business.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to provide feedback on product features and developments.
• Support networking and marketing events both locally and off-island.
• Monitor sales activity and produce management information.

To ensure that this role is carried out to the desired level, the successful candidate should have the following skills and experience:

• Working knowledge of new business and operational processes for international investment/life insurance products.
• Solid understanding of international investment/life insurance products.
• Experience in dealing effectively with product distributors.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
• Knowledge of UK Trust and Estate Planning structures would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of UK WRAP platforms and Discretionary Fund Managers would be advantageous.
