Job Description

Role Description:
As Accounts Administrator your role will be part of the Yacht Finance, Administration and Crew Recruitment team where you will be be responsible for the day-to-day yacht management accounts for a portfolio of yachts. A structured training plan will be arranged, along with ongoing support and guidance.

Role Responsibilities:
– Preparation of monthly management accounts
– Reconciliation of bank, cash and card accounts
– Extracting monthly bank and card statements
– Preparation and ongoing management of annual budgets
– Processing payments and inputting into the accounts system
– General support to Captain and crew
– Owners team conference calls
– Assisting with purchase orders, supplier queries and arranging Cash to Master via agents
– Complete annual reviews

– Must have a desire to learn
– Good time-management
– Adept in the use of MS Office, with emphasis on Outlook and Excel
– Able to operate Internet, e-mail, online banking systems
– Minimum three years bookkeeping experience
– Previous experience with yacht accounts, management and ownership structures is desirable
– Ideally studying towards an accountancy qualification such as ACCA or similar
