Job Description

Role Responsibilities:
– Be responsible for first line assurance monitoring; test, evaluate and report results to identify potential risks to the Group.
– Following testing, highlight when changes to processes and procedures may be required, working with the relevant Operational teams to implement.
– ​Work with other project teams to integrate new activities, mitigating impact to the business areas.
– ​Support project work in relation to FATCA, CRS and AML CFT submissions, working with the Operational teams to ensure system records are complete and up to date to meet tax reporting requirements.
– ​Support the Operational teams with ongoing monitoring of data accuracy and integrity using Microsoft CRM as a review and reporting tool.
– ​Produce and maintain internal procedures relevant to first line assurance monitoring.
– Work with the Operational teams to identify and document the control functions within their processes and procedures.
– Effective verbal and non-verbal communication with key stakeholders, including the preparation of quarterly reporting and statistical preparation.
– You may, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature in other teams that fall within your capabilities as requested by your line manager.

​Skills & Experience Required:
– ​High level awareness of FSA Regulatory reporting requirements are desirable but not essential.
– A working knowledge of FATCA / CRS and IRS reporting requirements are desirable but not essential.
– Previous Investment Operations experience within a financial services environment is preferred.
– Good attention to detail and accuracy.
– Delivers expected job outputs to standard and on time.
– ​Takes ownership for problems to ensure they get resolved.
– ​Knows when to escalate important issues or problems.
– ​Challenges current working practice to improve quality, efficiency or service.
– It would be desirable to hold an industry recognised professional qualification.
– ​Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, in particular MS Excel/ Visio.
– ​Knowledge of project management disciplines.
– Experience of risk and governance framework.
– ​Knowledge of Investment Operations core administration system.
