Job Description

Reporting to the Compliance Officer, the principal responsibility of the Senior Compliance Coordinator is to assist with the day to day administration and review of client files ensuring the highest standards of business take on are maintained, as well as ensuring all legislative and regulatory requirements are adhered to.

Role Responsibilities
– Have regular involvement in client file reviews;
– Take an active role in the continual review and development of the department;
Undertake and carry out ongoing monitoring across all areas of the department;
– Help with project work conducted by the Compliance Officer;
– Undertake an active role within the Compliance outsourcing services, such as on site visit inspections and reports;
– Help coordinate board meetings, including agenda preparation, initial board pack and minutes drafts;
– Be willing to undertake additional training and professional qualifications where necessary;
– It is a mandatory requirement to operate on a daily basis within the ISO 9001 Quality Management System;
– Understand the requirements of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System and maintain a good working knowledge; and
– Have an awareness of how departmental procedures, documents and record keeping have a positive or negative affect on the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
– Be aware of developments within the offshore industry;
– Become familiar with the services provided.
-Understand proposed legislation and the impact upon the firm and clients; and
– Understand the firms’ policies and procedures and adhere to them in daily working practice.

Skills & Experience Required:
– Have at least two to three years’ experience within an Compliance role;
– Possess a good understanding of compliance and its function;
– The ability to produce accurate work in a rapid and fast paced environment;
– Project management;
– Presentation skills; and
– PC literate, particularly with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
