Job Description
As a Senior Administrator in the Fund Services department you will be responsible for ensuring all daily administration and workflow is managed and completed to schedule whilst delivering a high class service to clients.
Role Responsilbities
– On instruction from the Investment Manager, negotiating all borrowing arrangements and supervising the implementation of such arrangements;
– Declaring the suspension of the valuation of the net assets of the Fund when conditions exist that requires a suspension;
– Preparation of any reports, notices and other documents, which the Fund is required to issue to shareholders in respect of any meetings of shareholders, convened;
– Carrying out all necessary filings to the appropriate regulatory bodies or Stock Exchanges on which the Fund is listed
– Receiving applications for investment into the Fund;
– Carrying out customer due diligence checks (“CDD”) for initial applications for investment and ongoing CDD monitoring;
– Preparation of all certificates, statements and notices which the Fund is required to issue relating to the issue and/or redemption of participating shares;
– Maintenance of statutory registers;
– Preparation of board packs and attending board meetings
– Drafting of minutes and resolutions, agreements and,
– Attending to all necessary corporate filings.
Skills & Experience Required
– Minimum 5 years funds experience
– Regulatory Knowledge and Awareness of: FSA Anti Money Laundering Requirements & Proceeds of Crime Procedures, Data Protection, Collective Investments Scheme Act 2008, Companies Act 1931, Companies Act 2006.
– Good organization and control of own workflow
– Understanding of the importance of and application of strong Group Eleven Corporate Governance
– Initiative-taking and can work under pressure
– A practical understanding and application of high-quality client service delivery
