Job Description

The role will be varied, covering the provision of payments services to all clients, including monies in and out, as well as trading and treasury management payments. As required, you will assist with projects and ‘BAU’ activities, as directed by your line manager.

Role Responsibilities:
– Prepare, authenticate, and input client payment requests
– Prepare, authenticate, and input daily incoming fund receipts
– Ensure bank reconciliations are monitored, investigated, and resolved in a timely fashion
– Be actively involved in any team and company projects
– Respond and resolve client queries as required
– Comply with all procedures and necessary controls to ensure an efficient provision of payment services and eradication of errors
– You will require a basic understanding of the companies product offering
– You will be required to conform to the Company’s AML procedures and guidelines at all times
– You will be required to work on a variety of projects that deliver service, create capacity and ensure control effectiveness within the team, supporting the wider Investment Operations areas
– You may, from time to time, be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature within your capabilities in other teams, as requested by your line manager

Skills & Experience Required:
– Good client communication skills (verbal and written) in relation to routine matters
– Be understanding of the importance of responding promptly to customer queries and providing timely feedback
– Promote trust in the workplace through open and honest communication with colleagues
– Inspire and motivate co-workers by maintaining a positive attitude
– Think outside the box’ to find a solution when a problem has been identified
– Remain task focused to end result
– Minimum 12 months experience of payment services provision
– Be detail orientated, with a high degree of accuracy
– Good IT skills are desired in all Microsoft applications
– Strong organisational and time management skills
– Perform allocated tasks promptly within deadlines and to an acceptable standard
