Job Description

Our client is currently seeking a Health & Safety Officer to assist the Health & Safety Department Head to ensure all aspect of the business are regulated and compliant.

Role Responsibilities

– You will be a Health & Safety professional with a sound working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements/legislation.

– Working closely and collaboratively with operational colleagues, you will bolster corporate knowledge and Health & Safety Team expertise to complement the complex and multidisciplinary nature of the business functions.

– You will be a passionate Health & Safety champion working as part of a team whilst specialising in either of the main disciplines to provide technical support / guidance.

– You will believe in a collaborative approach and the promotion of a health and safety conscious workforce.

– You will work towards the development of a Health & Safety Management System to drive continual improvement.

Skills & Experience Required

– 5 GCSE’s at grade C or above to include mathematics, English and physics/science

– Diploma in Health and Safety Management

– Full, clean driving licence

– Basic construction experience

– Change Management experience

– Experience of working collaboratively in a team, environment
