Job Description

As a Business Control Administrator, you will provide administration assistance and dedicated support to the Business Control Team.

Role Responsibilities:
– Assisting the team with the new client on boarding process
– Preparing periodic file reviews and risk assessments for existing clients
– Assisting the team with the trigger event process
– Dealing with client due diligence on a risk-based approach
– Reviewing and matching potential screening hits
– Assisting the team with client closure requests
– Assisting with collation of information for external banking reviews
– Liaising directly with clients
– Maintenance of departmental control spreadsheets
– Assisting with the preparation and maintenance of departmental procedure manuals, policies and associated documentation
– Ensuring knowledge of AML/CFT is always up-to-date with recent developments and changes to legislation
– Liaising with the Compliance Team
– Assisting with the delivery of any change initiatives or projects impacting the business
– Any other duties that may be required, from time to time, to support the business

Skills & Experience Required:
– 5 GCSEs or equivalent at grade C or above
– At least 2 years in a TCSP environment in a similar role
– Microsoft Office
– A working knowledge of CCH, Laserfiche and ViewPoint would be an advantage but not essential
– Attention to detail and accuracy
– Understanding of AML/CFT legislation
– Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
– Strong communication skills
– Able to work on own initiative & with minimal supervision
– Organisational skills & ability to prioritise
