Job Description
The successful candidate will work on a range of exciting projects across many areas of the regulatory spectrum, gaining a diverse understanding of the regulated financial sectors and working collaboratively with colleagues across the Crown Dependency Islands and International Financial Centers Groups.
Role Responsibilities
– Participating in client engagements, providing regular progress reports on all projects;
– Managing queries from internal and external stakeholders;
– Processing internal forms, information and compliance requirements as required;
– Supporting the production of formal reports, client proposals and engagement letters;
– Performing detailed reviews of engagement-related material allocated;
– Providing solutions and recommendations to help with better client outcomes; and
– Maintaining a strong working knowledge of the financial services industries in the Crown Dependencies alongside an awareness of worldwide current affairs and industry standards and how our clients may be impacted by any changes.
Skills & Experience Required
– Previous risk/regulatory experience within a professional services firm or similar;
– Preferably holding or working towards a relevant professional qualification e.g. ICA, ACCA
– Attention to detail and a good eye for consistency;
– MS Office skills – proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
– Excellent time management and organisational skills;
– Able to work across multiple engagements to tight deadlines;
– Strong listening, verbal, and written English communication skills; and
– Able to work as both a team member (across various jurisdictions as required) and independently
