Actuaries work with uncertainty, helping clients analyse how future events – anything from a corporate take-over to a major natural disaster – would affect them.
As an Actuarial Associate you’ll work with a wide variety of clients from a wide variety of industries. Industries in which actuaries traditionally play a role, like the life insurance, general insurance and pension industries to some non-traditional industries like the banking and healthcare sector, the public sector, the funds industry and legal profession.
You’ll learn how to use complex financial and statistical theories to weigh up the risks and estimate the odds of what might happen. Just as importantly, you’ll develop a flair for presenting your findings in a simple and easy to understand language.
If you have recently graduated and are now looking to start your career please register your CV and one of our consultants will be in touch.
